Thomas Keith Mirabile

Admitted to practice law in the States of Oklahoma (1976) and Illinois (1977), the Federal District Court of Northern Illinois (General and Trial bar), Arizona, Federal District Court of Oklahoma, the U.S. Seventh and Tenth Circuit Courts of Appeals, the US Court of Claims, the United States Tax Court and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Mr. Mirabile represents individuals and companies throughout the United States before the USCIS, the Department of Labor (DOL), the Immigration Courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and US Embassies and Consulates Worldwide and federal district and bankruptcy courts

Mr. Mirabile received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois, a Master of Arts from Northeastern Illinois University, Chicago, Illinois, a Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University School of Law and an LL.M. (Advanced Law Degree) at DePaul University Graduate School of the College of Law in Chicago

Mr. Mirabile has served on the Faculty of The Oklahoma City University School of Law and currently serves on the Graduate faculty of the University of Liverpool Law Faculty in its global International law Programme and Webster University Global Campus graduate programs . He additionally has served as a Visiting Professor at DePaul University College of Law and Graduate School in Chicago. He has taught Law in Singapore and the People’s Republic of China on the Graduate Level.

Mr. Mirabile is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) since joining in 1987 and has served on the faculty of DePaul University College of Law in Chicago as an Adjunct Professor of International Law. He is past chair of the International and Immigration law section of the Oklahoma Bar Association. He has a high to highest rating (BV) with Martindale-Hubbell, an international ranking for attorneys.

He is listed in Who’s Who in America, and Who’s Who in American Law.

John P. Luther

Mr. Luther received a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Massachusetts in 1977, an M.S. in Molecular Biochemistry from Boston College in 1981 and a J.D from the University of Oklahoma. He is admitted to practice in the following courts and jurisdictions: Oklahoma, Washington, Northern District of Illinois Trial Bar, Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, Western District of Washington, Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Court of International Trade, U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.

John P. Luther has been an intellectual property litigator for over twenty years. Mr. Luther has recently successfully defended Delta Airlines as lead counsel in a copyright infringement case and as lead defense counsel along with Thomas Mirabile in a patent infringement case involving batting training techniques used in Major League Baseball.

Mr. Luther has also authored and prosecuted many patents, both domestically and overseas, and has appeared before the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences. His patent practice has been primarily in the pharmaceutical and chemical arenas, and most recently in the Internet and telecommunications arts. Mr. Luther has practiced with both boutique and large national firms and was Vice President and General Counsel of a start-up biopharmaceutical firm specializing in anti-cancer, anti-viral, anti-infective and anti-sickle cell anemia drugs.

Education and Background

Dean received his Juris Doctor degree from Northwestern University School of Law in 1997. He received his masters degree is law (L.L.M.) degree in Taxation from Chicago-Kent College of Law. Dean is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and holds the following licenses: NASD Series 7, 63 and 65 and Illinois insurance license for life, health and long-term care.

Dean is a member of the following organizations: Society of Financial Service Professionals, Financial Planning Association, and the DuPage County Bar Association. He has published several articles in professional journals and has educated thousands of people in the areas of estate and financial planning. Dean is a past Chair of both the Tax Committee and the Estate Planning Committee of the DuPage County Bar Association.

Mark D. Perkins

Practice Area Overview

Mark Perkins concentrates his practice in Estate Planning, Insurance Planning and Business Succession Planning. He has extensive advanced training as an estate planning counselor, and therefore uses the most sophisticated techniques in the estate planning field. These techniques include living trusts, dynasty trusts, living wills, power of attorney documents, irrevocable life insurance trusts, charitable remainder trusts, minor trusts, qualified personal residence trusts, family limited partnerships and family foundations.

Education and Background

Mark received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Elmhurst College with a double major in Urban Studies and Business Administration. Mark earned his Juris Doctor degree from IIT-Chicago Kent College of Law.

Mark teaches and lectures on the topic of estate planning to lawyers, accountants, financial planners, and various consumer groups. Mark regularly produces articles regarding current estate planning concerns. He appeared as a guest speaker regarding estate planning on "Money Talks" (AM 1530) radio program on several occasions. Mark is a member of the Illinois/Wisconsin Forum of Estate Planning Attorneys. He is also a member of the DuPage County Bar Association (DCBA) and is a past Chair of both the DCBA Tax Committee and the DCBA Estate Planning Committee.

Brian Pelletier

Brian Pelletier is a current law student at Northern Illinois University College of Law. He graduated from Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania in 2011 with a degree in Business Administration; emphasis in Global Business Management. Brian anticipates graduating from NIU in May of 2014.

Saba Naeem

Ms. Naeem is currently pursuing her J.D. at Northern Illinois College of Law. Her expected graduation date is May 2014. She graduated with a B.A. in Political Science in 2011 from the University of Houston in Texas. Ms. Naeem joined the Mirabile Law Firm in February 2013.
